.NET, speedy cars and young kids, no time for much else!

Came across a real cool demo hosted at the dot net solutions site, very cool:)

Went on Juval Lowy's (of IDesign) Architect's Master Class at the Microsoft campus in Mountian View, California. Juval makes such a strong case for an engineering approach it's difficult to see why we do anything else! He made a very strong case for a mechanised approach to both managing your project and the architectural design when you have WCF as your reference platform. Granted, what Juval could do in 3 to 5 days might take us mere mortals 3 weeks but I'm sure we'll improve over time:) He's not wrong when he says the software business is in crisis and since some people are clearly doing it right the knowledge must be there so there's no excuse for over budget late projects, we just need a change of mindset and get on with and dig ourselves out!!
